All orders are custom made and shipped within just a few days from our facility in Turlock, CA, using either USPS First-Class Mail, Priority Mail, or Express Mail. Federal Express is used on an as needed basis when special arrangements have been requested by our customers.
First Class Mail selections are mainly for orders of 2-4 bows or less, or if you do not have a time requirement on shipping. Most orders ship out in 1 to 2 days, although we do quote 1-5 days so that we have flexibility for the various holiday seasons. If you do need your merchandise by a certain time requirement but still have the flexibility to use First Class shipping, we ask that you leave us a message in the comments box at checkout so that we know the time requirement you are working with. We do not recommend that you ship packages for gift giving using this method unless you leave us a note in the comments box letting us know it is a gift. Merchandise will be shipped and packaged to protect the bows inside, but mailed in either a soft poly mailer or tuck top box. The box may not be in perfectly pristine condition upon receipt using First Class shipping, however all of the merchandise inside will be perfect and protected. Cost for First Class shipping is $4.95.
Priority Mail (US) orders will be pulled from our incoming orders each day and processed quicker than our first class shipping orders. They typically go out in just a day or two, although this can vary (holiday schedule and if your order includes a tutu and we do not have on hand it will be different and typically takes an additional day or two). If you are shipping merchandise as a gift please let us know. We use both tuck top boxes and gift boxes with this method of shipping. We recomment priority shipping if you are sending a gift package because we can easily box your gift and ship it insde a priority shipping box so that it is protected and received in pristine condition. Please remember to leave us a message in the comments box at checkout if this is a gift and if you would like for us to enclose a complimentary gift card with the order. Please also leave us what you would like the gift card to say, otherwise we may just include a card that says, "From Jane Smith". Priority shipping typically takes anywhere from 2-5 days to receive depending where you are located, but 2-4 days seems to be the average. Cost for Priority Shipping is $6.95
International First Class shipping is offered on our site to all international destinations for $14.95. International mailings using this service takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks (sometimes longer) to receive and cannot be tracked by the USPS. We strongly suggest that some international destinations (Middle East locations specifically, and other more remote locations) upgrade and select Priority Express Mail for a quicker and more reliable delivery (3-10 business days for most but some longer), and the ability to track. This is our preferred method when shipping to the Middle East and some other more remote international destinations. If you decide you would like to upgrade your international package to Express Mail, simply use the "Overnight/Express" que when checking out. We will notify you if the charge is greater to collect payment for the upgrade. We will only charge you what it costs us for the upgrade.

If your package costs us more to ship due to volume and weight, we will ask you to cover the increase in shipping cost, or, we may elect to ship it out Priority Express Mail which is also trackable.
International Customers: Please select your international shipping method carefully. We cannot be responsible for lost or missing international first class and priority mail packages.
OTHER INFORMATION REGARDING SHIPPING AND SHIPPING TURNAROUND TIME:
All hair bow orders take between 1-5 days to process and ship, although typically our turn around time is just a few days. We always do our best to provide you with very quick turn around times year round - including the holidays. Our bows are each individually handcrafted just for you, not mass produced or kept in stock. Larger orders, orders with tutus, and orders placed during the holiday seasons will probably take a bit longer to process due to the high volume we receive. We very rarely exceed our posted turnaround time and will notify you via e-mail if there is a problem.
Please Let Us Know If You Have a Time Requirement:
Please email us if you need your order by a specific date --preferably leave us a message in the "Comments about your order" box at checkout. Leaving your message in the "comments" box will ensure that your request will show up on your original order. If you are using paypal instead of a credit card, please e-mail us with your comments as well as leaving them in the box. If you do leave them in the comments box at checkout and are using paypal, you must return back to our site for the comments to register. If you are unsure, e-mail us as well.
Holiday Shipping and Annual Store Vacation:
We are busy around each holiday (typically starting the month before and sometimes earlier) (Valentine's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all high volume months), so be sure to let us know if you need your order sooner than our average make/ship turnaround time.
We take vacation various days in June and July and early to mid December through January 1 we close our store each year, so please plan accordingly. All vacation schedules will be posted on the front page of our site for notification and your convenience. Our shopping cart will be disabled while we are on vacations or away at trade shows, but you can still browse the site and place your order in the shopping cart for purchase when we return. That, too, will be announced on our front page.

How do you ship your items?
All of our items are shipped via USPS First-Class-Mail for $4.95. All merchandise is carefully wrapped in tissue secured with our PinkBowtique sticker to keep them in place, and shipped in a sturdy box using a poly mailer or tuck top box. It's like getting a fun present! Please note that our boxes are sturdy and are meant to protect the merchandise inside. If you are giving the box with bows as a gift, we would suggest selecting Priority Mail, to insure that your packages are shipped in a gift box and placed inside of a sturdy Priority Mail box and will be perfect for presentation after shipping.
What if I need my order quickly?
If you need your bows by a certain date, please let us know by leaving us a comment in the "comments about my order" box when you check out. We would appreciate it if you select USPS Priority Mail service (2-3 days delivery once shipped out) for $6.95, or Express Delivery (2-day guarantee) starting at $34.95 if you are asking us to rush your order. Your Express packages will be shipped within 24 hours of receiving the order during the business week by Friday at noon. If your order is received after that time, we may still be able to get it out, but do not guarantee it will go out until Monday morning. When you choose either Priority or Express mail, your order is automatically moved ahead of others for quick processing and shipping without any additional fees. Both of these options are also shipped in a sturdy USPS approved box or Express Mailing box upon request. Otherwise we may occasionally use envelopes suited to the shipping type. Note: If you ask us to rush your order, please select the appropriate shipping option (i.e. Priority at a minimum).
Can I get my package insured? Do you provide tracking on packages?
Yes, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please contact us to insure your package for a small fee. We pay extra to provide tracking on all of our packages (International first class cannot be tracked). We are able to see when a package has been delivered and how long it took to get to its destination (except international destinations which would require paying extra for upgraded Express shipping to track packages). If your package has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact your post office first to find out if your package is waiting for you there. Virtually every "missing" package is safely awaiting pickup at your neighborhood post office. Not every mail carrier will leave packages at the front door. In addition, we automatically send your tracking information to the e-mail provided to us on the invoice. If you do not receive this e-mail, check your spam or junk mail folders, it will sometimes wind up there if your computer does not recognize our e-mail address. You can avoid missing any of our e-mail notifications by adding the following e-mails to your address book: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com.
How long will it take to get my order?
All of our bows are custom made as they are ordered. We do not mass produce our hair bows. We give attention and detail to every single bow we make. Due to our unique product line, and high demand, we do not stock any hair bows. We are quick - typically a few days- but during any holiday season it will probably take longer for processing We invite you to leave us a message in the comments box at checkout if you have a special time requirment. We will pull your order and do our best to make sure it gets to you in time. You are also welcome to e-mail us if you would like to know an estimate of our turn around time when your order is placed.
All hair bow orders take between 1-5 days to make and ship out.
One month prior to each holiday we get very busy and orders can take a bit longer to process during this time of the year, but will never usually exceed 5 days. Most orders during our busy time will still ship out in 3-5 days. If you have a deadline to receive your bows, simply let us know in the comments box when you check out. We will do our very best to accomadate your request. We typically have the fastest turn around times in our industry - usually ready to ship in just a day or two.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, we do a special box wrap for gift giving consisting of chiffon or tulle ribbon and a flower topper and can enclose a complimentary card with your personal sentiment. We feel our regular packaging works just as well for gift giving because of the attention we take in providing pretty and upscale boxes with chiffon ribbons normally. If you would like your order wrapped as a gift, please request this in the comments box upon checkout. You can be assured that your package will be top quality and gorgeous! Gift cards can be included on any of the packages we send out - at no additional charge - just leave us a message in the comments box at checkout letting us know what you would like for us to write on your complimentary gift card. We recommend using the Priority Mail option to assure your package looks perfect for presentation after shipping.
I need my order fast for a special event, do you offer rush orders?
Yes, we do offer rush orders. This is a premium paid service we offer for those emergency orders.
Premium rush orders will be shipped out Fast, within 1 business day (24 hours) or less from the time we receive your order. You should select the USPS Express Mail shipping option and then leave us a comment in the box at checkout regarding your time requirement. It may be necessry to use Federal Express overnight premium service to meet your deadline. This would be an additional charge and we would require that it be paid before we will ship (it can run $20-$30 more to do this). We do not make any profit on this premium service. We charge you only what it costs us. It can be very expensive, but it is offered.
We are able to offer USPS International Priority Mail (7-10 days arrival time) and International Express Mail (3-7 days arrival time) at an additional cost over and above the first class International rate. We typically bill you whatever the exact charge is to us. Overnight or 2 day arrivals are not available on International orders in that time frame - only 3-5 days. Express shipping is the only international method that provides tracking for international orders.
Is it possible to use another shipping method?
Our main postage provider is the USPS. If you have a special need to ship by another carrier (such as Fed Ex), we will accomodate you, however, you will be expected to pay for any premiums over and above our regular shipping rates. You are welcome to give us your Fed Ex account number for shipping. Do so in the comments box at checkout and let us know that you would prefer we use this method.
Can we purchase your products if we are located in a different country?
Yes, we do take international orders. We charge a $14.95 fee for shipping internationally using First Class shipping (2-4 week arrival time). However, if you have a large order (over $75), we will ask you to cover your exact shipping costs prior to shipping. We will let you know and will bill your account or send you a paypal invoice per your approval before we will ship your package. We usually can reduce the international fee for first class shipping to Canada. Please e-mail us if you would like us to do this.
All international orders are shipped first class, the least expensive way for us, and can take approximately 2-4 weeks to arrive, depending on your location. If you would like to request an upgrade to Priority Mail, or Express Mail, you will be charged any additional expense required to do so prior to shipping. When you upgrade, you will only be billed our actual cost for the shipping. When you request either Priority or Express mailing, you are agreeing to this fee increase.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS - Our Policy:
We are selective and evaluate each request we receive for a return, as our products are custom made just for you and are usually not resaleable. Most sales are final, although there are exceptions. Please e-mail us within 7 days of receipt and we would be happy to help you with your inquiry. We cannot, under any conditions, accept returns after 30 days of initial purchase. Please read below for more details.
Each and every bow or band is designed according to your specifications after you order. Please be careful in your selection of clips, colors choices and size preference. We will no longer will be accepting hair bows back because of wrong size or color selections. Typically returns are not useable and must be thrown away. The sizes are clearly stated while shopping this website. Variations in size of up to 1/2" are normal for these custom, hand-made products. If you are unsure of a color, we will be happy to send snippets of any color before you place your order. If your baby has an unusually large or smaller head than average, please send us a head measurements so we can better serve you. You may notate the measurement in the "comments" box upon checkout. We can cut the shimmer elastic headbands to your exact measurements and specifications, otherwise we will use an average measurement as listed on the site.
Returns we agree to resulting from your error must be in the original packaging and in the same condition, and shipped back to us within 7 days of issuing the RA number via e-mail. Sending producst back in a padded envelope for any reason is not acceptable and the products will be either returned to you and you will not be issued a credit. We may also charge a 25% restocking fee in the event a return is requested. This charge is up to our discretion, whichever we decide the situation warrants. Your refund or exchange will be issued once we receive our merchandise back in resaleablecondition (unopened and unused with tags attached). Please note that shipping charges are not refundable and the purchaser must pay shipping for returned items back to us, and those reshipped. If the return is due to our error, no additional shipping charges are due.
What is your return policy on Tutus?
Tutus are custom made specifically for your order. We typically DO NOT accept tutus for return unless there is a defect or problem with the merchandise that we may have overlooked before shipping.. If you receive a tutu and do not want to keep it for any reason, we charge a $15 restocking fee to cover our original costs in the packaging and shipping of your item. We have to do this because it typically costs us twice the amount to ship a tutu than what we charge our customer. Upon return, the tutu must be in PERFECT condition and EXACTLY how you received it to receive for a full refund (minus the $15 restocking fee). If you want us to remake and reship a larger or smaller size, you will once again be charged our exact cost for shipping the item back to you.
We guarantee our products and service, and any error in processing that we may make will be quickly and efficiently handled to your complete satisfaction.
